Back on the telly last night on @trtworld discussing the US Meta anti-trust trial 🎤📹

I think it’s possible that the FTC will reach a settlement with Meta, if they have buttered up President Trump enough. However, it could go the other way… 🤷🏻‍♀️

WhatsApp makes up only a tiny amount of Meta’s revenues but it has the highest amount of daily active users.

And Instagram contributes 50% of Meta’s revenues in the US, as well as generating more revenue per user than any other social media platform in the world 💰

So there is a lot of interest 👀 in whether Meta will be forced to sell off its assets or not, from its competitors and the tech industry as a whole, which fears that if Meta is broken up, it will set a precedent preventing large tech firms from acquiring start-ups.
