@pfefferle @blog I have the plugin activated on my site @news, which is a local event calendar for #tango in the region. Currently running on "The Events Calendar”, but I am planning to switch to something free. And since the plugin allows for event aggregation as well, I am hoping to convert my tango organisers in the region to install it, as well, allowing them to manage their event shares on the regional calendar via their own web site.

Tango ProjectTANGO General Assembly in Mallorca: Project Progress & Lessons LearnedThe 6th TANGO General Assembly (GA) took place in Alcúdia, Mallorca, from May 5 to 7, 2025. The TANGO project, funded by the EU’s Horizon Europe programme, is now approaching its final phase, with key deliverables and reports due by the end of the summer 2025. During the meeting, project partners participated in on-site testing and evaluation of the Smart Hospitality Pilot and reviewed progress across all pilots and work packages.

On Saturday, the organizers of Conexión #QueerTango Festival said they wanted to give the Filipeli twins a challenge this year. They danced with a third man, Leonardo Sardella.

For context, the twins took third place in the 2019 Tango World Championship, the highest two men have ever placed; trying to give them a challenge is justified!

In the first song that had all three, they danced as though jealously fighting over each other.

Germán leads Leonardo to kick backwards between Nicolás’s open legs. Nicolás faces away from the camera, and Germán faces toward it. Leonardo is facing right, according to the camera. Nicolás is taking a step forward (away from the camera) with his right foot as Leonardo’s right foot passes between his legs.
Their backs to the camera, the twins each hold one of Leonardo’s hands. His weight is on his bent left leg, and his right leg is kicked out far behind him.
