I decided to use my non-existent departmental authority at the Department of Geosciences and Geography of #UniHelsinki, and took down some flyers and adverts for events from 5+ years ago, and hung up some cool maps of #Estonia from 1992. The maps were just laying on the coffee table of our break room, and I could not let them get any coffee stains.

Was für ein Bürokratie-Marathon heute knapp 2 Stunden an einem Schalter gesessen, um meine neue estnische ID zu beantragen. Reisepass, Geburtsurkunden (alte & neue) inkl. notarieller Übersetzung sowie eine Email von diesem Amt, dass ich genau diese Dokumente brauche, waren dennoch nicht ausreichend Nach knapp 2 Stunden habe ich es geschafft, die Mitarbeitenden zu überzeugen, dass ich ich bin und konnte meine neue ID beantragen… ausführlicher Post folgt…
