Useless achievement, but I placed first in the country in the elevation gain challenge.

Acomplished my own consistent challenge in may: running everyday. No rest days.
Quite pleased that i stayed on track. On job days (Not Homeoffice) it was hard to exchange lunch with running. But it worked out for me… better than expected.

(In fact i‘m running five weeks now since 25/04/26.)

Running a new route in #Strava be like

I feel pity for those that have to propose / design / implement in-app ads for the app itself in #Strava. Those are now completely blocked by my mental ad-blocker.

I just noticed that there is some new one design/type wise and before being able to spot what it says, my knee jerk reaction dismissed it.

I wonder how should I set up Garmin - Intervals.icu - Strava dataflow with my cycling thingies so I could use Intervals.icu as the main tool, Strava for the some part and prevent overly eager Strava from overriding activity data (such as title) in intervals.icu?

Ich liebe die #Strava Community, die bei jedem immer schön ihre Kudos verteilt. Nils Politt fährt 80m in 45 Minuten und erhält 149 Kudos !!! Oder sind die als Anerkennung seiner Leistung als Bundestrainer mit dem 0,1-er Schnitt ?

Zum ersten Mal die Radroute an der #Elbe zwischen #Meißen und Riesa angetestet, war sehr hübsch wenn auch hinundwieder Pflaster in Variationen etwas mühsam war. Versehentlich offiziell direkt nach Meißen rein, das muss nächstes Mal smarter. Schon wieder pers. Rekord beim Kaisitzer Berg, geil, früher war S-Kurven. Ein Trostpflaster bei Blick auf den Akku-Rentner der ohne eine Schweißperle an mir vorbeigezogen ist.

Strava subscription cancelled.

I’m switching to https://intervals.icu because even if it a bit rough on the outside feature wise it is the one I’ve been using 2+ years now and that’s the one I’d like to see gaining popularity.

I used to heavily make use of #strava but not because it’s good or I like it, i e just had it on my phone for ages. Are there any alternatives people like for it?

Little help from the Fitness folk out there please.
Ran an experiment with Google Fit and Strava at the same time. Steps and Distance are accurate'ish, but the difference in calories burned between the two apps is rather huge.
Google Fit also has this habit of dropping the amount of calories over time. When first finished it'd be 126, then 106, and now 81.
I guess different formulas are used, but which is more accurate?
