Dizzy 0069 Stiff Assed Crip :Fire_Bisexual:<p>Argh! Where did my disk space go?</p><p>Need to get some recertified enterprise grade SATA hard drives because suddenly my extenal drives are very low on space.</p><p>Any recommendations for outlets that are in or will deliver to the UK without horrendous customs and shipping fees?</p><p>Recommendations for a cost-effective (as in me and my team may get P45d soon) way of storing around 30Gb of files also appreciated.</p><p>I have an HP N36L Microserver that hasn't been used for a while. Could press it into service but not sure if it can read drives larger than 3TB. IIRC it's got 3 WD Red 3TB drives in it.</p><p>There's also a 4 bay HD enclosure here.</p><p>Trying hard not to overthink things and keep it simple. </p><p>My set up: Daily driver is a Thinkpad X270. Some of the media files are on shares so they can be accessed via tablet devices at home. gyptazy<p>"All Flash" is my new homelab storage (6x 4T) &amp; I'm not sure if it'll still be <a href="https://mastodon.gyptazy.com/tags/FreeBSD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FreeBSD</span></a>. </p><p>The goal? Providing storage for clients at home (NFS/CIFS) but also to servers like Proxmox by NVMeoF (TCP).</p><p>It's not a ready-to-use NAS and more a MiniPC with 6x NVMe slots and 2x 2.5Gbit and 1x 10Gbit network. So, I'm happy to make the best out of it.
