StellarSnap<p>📸 Fireball over Cape San Blas</p><p>A fireball is a meteor so bright it can rival Venus or even the full Moon. These rare events burn through Earth's atmosphere, often leaving a smoky trail as they break apart.</p><p>This one was spotted last week from a deadwood beach in Cape San Blas, Florida.</p><p>📷 Jason Rice<br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Fireball" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Fireball</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Meteor" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Meteor</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/CapeSanBlas" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>CapeSanBlas</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/BrightMeteor" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>BrightMeteor</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/NightSky" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>NightSky</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Astrophotography" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Astrophotography</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/StellarSnap" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>StellarSnap</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Astronomy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Astronomy</span></a></p>
