Dennis Jernberg<p>Okay, I haven't been around for a while, so it's time for a re-<a href="https://mastodon.xyz/tags/introduction" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>introduction</span></a>.</p><p>I am of course Dennis Jernberg, author of the still unfinished science fiction political thriller Spanner In The Works (or maybe science fantasy, because it involves a caustic take on superheroes and their tropes), first in a long-planned 5-book series Chaos Angel Spanner. I thought I'd kept true to the cyberpunk spirit all this time. After what I learned today, I discovered I was wrong. My purpose was to destroy the superhero universe. What Spanner's monkeywrench destroys when it hits the third eye of Steve Jobs' "great and powerful" god-manifestation turns out to be cyberpunk itself. One is her "Charmer" power that allows her to project a "reality distortion field" like Steve Jobs, whose construct she's to steal back. He had a mind control signal imposed throughout the Confederate States of Russia and America. When spotted, he's usually wearing a trenchcoat and a black motorcycle helmet with a mirrored faceplate, or some other nondescript getup.</p><p>One running theory is that Spanner is Sia in disguise.
