The bombings haven't stopped, the aid hasn't come in and Khan Younis has faced further displacements and the destruction of hundreds of tents. This is why the Sameer Project in the South started doing water daily and have purchased more tents this week. Rice distributions have stopped due to scarcity and it is becoming much harder to secure pots of lentils. Gaza is in a famine and most have not tasted fresh food in a long while. Flour and rice are incredibly hard to come by and vegetables prices have skyrocketed. Our team does a lot of manual labor and our camp residents are among the sick and injured that need healing. They needed something nutritious. We purchased 70 bags filled with an assortment of veggies, 25 for our camp and the rest for our team in the North and South.
