AP News · Southern Baptists to meet in Dallas for annual evangelical gatheringSouthern Baptists meeting this week in Dallas will be asked to approve resolutions calling for a legal ban on pornography and reversing the U.S. Supreme Court’s approval of same-sex marriage. The proposed resolutions call for laws on gender, marriage and family based on what they say is biblical teaching. They also call for legislators to curtail sports betting and to support policies that promote childbearing. Delegates of the Southern Baptist Convention, the nation’s largest Protestant denomination, also are expected to debate controversies within the organization during their annual meeting Tuesday and Wednesday. For example, there Is a proposed ban on churches with women pastors.

Very sad developments from the Southem Baptists. Not surprising to see the denomination double-down on patriarchy, homophobia and natalism, but still sad to see happen. I especially feel bad for the many moderate Baptists I know who are being ignored in this debate.

Dear #homelab bubble,

as is normal I have a dozen different SBCs (Raspi1, Raspi2, Raspi4,...) as well as some other thin clients running in my home lab. As none of them is connected to a monitor, each of them has some kind of serial-to-USB cable attached (to a serial output or to the Raspi GPIO pins).

Of course, I am lazy, and moving the laptop I am working on and attaching the right cable is too much effort. So I thought about finding another solution. Not sure if there is one and if I can afford it. So I would be glad if there is any input or ideas or hints or experiences or recommendations. Thanks in advance!

New day - new Raspberry Pi brought back to life 😃

This one probably fell down because it had no shorts, all voltages from DA9090 were present, but it didn’t start most of the time - it did once but then I spent quite some time trying to figure out where is our issue.

Reflowing CPU and RAM chips must have helped ✅
