…On Thurs, #ElonMusk was revealed as the hidden funding source behind #RBG #PAC, a #Republican group that worked to elect #Trump but was named after the liberal jurist who despised him.

A trust belonging to #Musk was the sole funder of RBG PAC, which had not yet disclosed its donors before a filing late Thurs.

The group…called #RBG PAC…came into existence only days ago, & began to spend $20M on Fri in support of #Trump, acc/to federal records. The group posted 2 #abortion-themed ads focused on the #TrumpLies that he would oppose a federal #AbortionBan.

The group’s paperwork was signed by #MayMailman, who worked in the WH & who is now director of the *Independent Women’s* Law Center. She did not respond to a request for comment Fri.

We are vehemently in agreement on supporting the #DemocraticParty and vote for WHOEVER the ultimate nominee is.

Any #Democratic nominee, even one without a pulse, will get my vote, simply because the alternative has fateful consequences to the entire world order.

That doesn't mean we shouldn't reflect on what brought us here. With changing political landscape, strategies MUST evolve.

Update: The RBG Award Gala has been canceled after the backlash from Ruth Bader Ginsburg's family. "It is important to note, that the last thing we intended was to offend the family and friends of RBG. Our purpose was only to remember her and to honor her leadership,” Julie Opperman, chair of the foundation that organizes the awards, said. “Over the next several months the Foundation will reconsider its mission and make a judgment about how or whether to proceed in the future,” Opperman’s statement said.
