New #PyLadiesCon open source project reveal!
I'm giving a lightning talk at the Community Organizers Summit today, I'll be announcing an exciting new Python open source project from @pyladiescon. Come and join!
Room 317 10:30am - 1:00pm
Today I did some "community organizing" task related to an event, and by "organizing" I really mean copy pasting from pretalx CFP platform to spreadsheet to docs and then to email client, and it makes me mad.
Last week I spoke to @djangonaut space on why spreadsheets is not the way to manage a conference. I know a lot of other conferences are relying on Spreadsheets too.
Watch this talk to hear me rant about it (and how #PyLadiesCon plan to address it)
Can we park these banners at your next Python conference?

A Big Thank You to the Python Software Foundation!
We’re excited to recognize the Python Software Foundation as a Special Sponsor of #PyLadiesCon 2024. Your support has been key in helping us host a global, free event dedicated to empowering women in the Python community.
Thank you for helping us make PyLadiesCon 2024 a success!
We've sent out certificate of participation to all PyLadiesCon attendees, volunteers, and speakers.
The certificate is a small token of appreciation that doesn't take a lot to create, if you know how to code in Python.
If you run an event and also want to send out this kind of certificates to your attendees, check my blog post to learn how.
