i’ve seen some people on here who use postmarketOS as their daily driver now that is has systemd. if that’s you i want to hear about your experience! i’m deeply curious as it seems pmOS has matured a lot now

Dazu suchen die Gnome-Entwickler nach Testern, die ihr System installieren und Rückmeldungen geben. Wer mitmacht, kann sogar etwas gewinnen. Nachdem Gnome OS nur als fertige virtuelle Maschine bereitstand, offerieren die Gnome-Entwickler mittlerweile auch ein ISO-Image. Über das lässt sich die Distribution direkt auf realer Hardware installieren. Vom produktiven Einsatz eines solchen Systems rät das Gnome-Team allerdings noch ab. Um genau das zu ändern, hat der Gnome-Entiwckler Tobias Bernard jetzt in seinem Blog den „Summer of GNOME OS“ ausgerufen. Dahinter verbirgt sich eine große Testaktion mit eingebautem Gewinnspiel: Wer Gnome OS auf seiner realen Hardware installiert und im Juni, Juli und August ausgiebig testet, erhält Punkte gutgeschrieben: 10 Punkte gibt es, wenn man Gnome OS für mindestens vier Wochen täglich nutzt, 1 weiteren Punkt für jeden gemeldeten Fehler, 3 Punkte für jeden beigesteuerten eigenen Code (in Form von Merge Requests) und noch einmal 5 Punkte für jeden behobenen Fehler. Alle Punkte werden am Ende des Sommers addiert. Wer dann am 1. September den höchsten Punktestand aufweist, gewinnt ein OnePlus 6 Smartphone mit postmarketOS. Für die ersten drei Plätze gibt es zudem ein T-Shirt. Wer mitmachen möchte, findet eine Anleitung im entsprechenden Blog-Post.

Has anyone managed to install Grayjay on Postmarketos? It's available via flathub, but I get this error.

Hurg. Just upgraded my #PinebookPro to #PostmarketOS 24.12 and now I can't keep the wifi working for more than a few packets at a time. No firmware changes I can see. Maybe it's the change from iwd to wpa_supplicant? I hate broadcomm chipsets...

Does anyone have experience configuring #Anubis (the AI blocker thingy) with #gitlab omnibus?
#postmarketOS is looking to deploy this thing in front of our gitlab instance to combat AI-generated traffic, but having some difficulty figuring out how to make a round Anubis peg fit in an omnibus/nginx square hole.
My Touchpad Emulator project is now in the #AlpineLinux testing repository! My merge request got merged this morning and I was able to install it on my #postmarketOS edge devices! The package name is touchpad-emulator. It turns the touchscreen into a trackpad style mouse to make desktop UIs easier to use on a touch-only mobile device.
