Did get the 3-year warranty in case I need it. impermanen_ 🕊️<p>I've been enjoying working on Linux so much, and it's mostly easy to manage these days. I use <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/Pop_OS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Pop_OS</span></a> and it's lovely. But the process for making changes to encrypted drives is full of sharp edges. People will say "oh just use Clonezilla."</p><p>No. 😅 </p><p>My advice if moving from Windows or MacOS to Linux and needing an encrypted drive, get a bigger one than you think you'll need so you don't have to mess with changing it out.</p>

:wa: Sumo :gtimk7: :rdx:<p>After about a week on <a href="https://weird.autos/tags/Ubuntu" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Ubuntu</span></a> I have switched to the <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://fosstodon.org/@pop_os_official" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>pop_os_official</span></a></span> 22.04 LTS build. I like their take on Gnome and their use of flatpak instead of snap. I'm looking forward to their Cosmic desktop which should be out this year with their 24.04 build. And the best part with <a href="https://weird.autos/tags/linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>linux</span></a> is if I don't dig this I just move on to another. My goal will be to leave this running for at least a month before I even consider a different distro. <a href="https://weird.autos/tags/pop_os" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>pop_os</span></a>.</p>
