St. Hubert (aka Hubertos) is considered to be the originator of ethical hunting behavior for Catholics. His Feast Day is November 3rd. St. Hubert's story holds that after the death of his wife, the nobleman went to live in the woods. There, he saw a stag with a cross glowing between its horns, and took it as a sign from God.
