Mark H<p>From a 2012 visit to Brighton for <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/MeerMittwoch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MeerMittwoch</span></a> today, here's the beach and a view of the famous West Pier. Santiago<p>Bueno, siguiendo con este hilo 👉 <a href="https://mastodon.uy/@santiago/114501186501763605" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">mastodon.uy/@santiago/11450118</span><span class="invisible">6501763605</span></a> , finalmente pude estrenar el telescopio con oculares prestados (los propios no los tengo aún), pero dado que el estreno iba a ser en un lugar especial con una visita grande de gente, decidí los días antes hacer una montura de tipo pilar para que quede más alto la observación cerca del cenit ya que el trípode de la montura básica es muy bajito. Fui a la barraca de hierros y compré básicamente recortes de caños cuadrados, redondos y una planchuela. Sigue el hilo. Doolin is a popular spot for a lot of different reasons. Located in the Burren, it is close to many other hotspots like the Cliffs of Moher, Lisdoonvarna, the Doolin Cave (largest stalactite in the Northern Hemisphere), Doonagore Castle and the Fanore beach. Its ferries can also bring you out to the Aran Islands. It's a very lovely and welcoming village that is famous for traditional Irish music - there's always a sesh on somewhere. <br>

As we made our way towards the Golden Gate Bridge fog started creeping in, at times, completely hiding the bridge. Depending on the wind we could see it or not for a few minutes here and there.
