I finished assembling the TriacControl https://www.github.com/profdc9/TriacControl speed controller, which phase controls a universal motor based on an analog or PWM signal. It is to control the router spindle speed for a 2.5D CNC machine using the PWM output of a CNC controller. It could also be used with the PWM of a microcontroller, as the input can be configured for 3.3V-24V.
