This is not well understood in the electorate and polies probably don’t either (mouthing corporate energy producers‘ talking points).</p><p>There is another important point that is not discussed widely, and that is the ‘cooling’ cycle of nuclear reactor energy production. It takes a lot of ‘clean’ water and the evaporation rate is no inconsequential in an arrid country like Australia.
