As a Pakistani, I join the world today, July 11, 2025, to mark the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica Genocide. In 1995, over 8,000 Bosniak Muslim men and boys were brutally massacred in Srebrenica, Bosnia—the worst genocide in Europe since World War II. This tragedy, recognized by the UN as a day of reflection, reminds us of the horrors of hatred and injustice. As Pakistanis, we know the pain of conflict and the value of standing for peace. Let’s honor the victims with prayers and raise our voices against genocide denial. This day calls us to strengthen our commitment to humanity, reject propaganda, and work for a world where such atrocities never happen again. #SrebrenicaGenocide #NeverForget

July is a month of memories and mourning — not only for Srebrenica, but also for Mostar.
This image, taken in the ruins of what was once a home, speaks of a siege that left deep scars. Mostar is not just history for me — it’s personal, a place that continues to echo in my work and my heart.
Never forget.
