Two points I want to second/add: A significant challenge for the social level is imho that
- PI-level academic staff is almost never evaluated for good leadership in advance
- Limited funding may simply prevent a stable social network in research environments

Ich freue mich sehr über die Gelegenheit, beim @DHd als kooptiertes Vorstandsmitglied für "Transdisciplinary Outreach and Representation" in Zukunft dazu beizutragen, die fachliche Diversität im Verband zu fördern und den Verband für Arbeitende aus anderen Disziplinen und Fächer interessanter zu machen. Dazu gehört auch, die fachliche Vielfalt der Beiträge zu den #DHd Konferenzen zu fördern und die #DHd Konferenz attraktiver z.B. für die #MultilingualDH zu machen.

Wir haben vor einiger Zeit einen Vortrag gehalten auf einem Workshop, in dessen Nachgang die Vorträge zu Papern ausformuliert werden sollten. Leider haben auch nach 2 Review-Runden die Reviewer auf Änderungen bestanden, die wir für unnötig halten und das Paper daher zurückgezogen.

It was presented and discussed during the workshop "Creating, Managing and Archiving Textual Corpora in Under-resourced Languages”. The workshop was conceived by DARIAH Working Groups Research Data Management and Multilingual DH, financed by DARIAH-EU Funding Scheme for Working Group Activities 2023-25, and hosted by the University of Hamburg on 28th to 30th August 2024.
