meisterluk<p>So we offer this <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Aikid%C5%8D" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Aikidō</span></a> training for families. Essentially parents can come with their children (usually one parent, one or two children) and do some exercises together (20% Aikidō, 80% game or fitness). Compared to kids training, parents take responsibility of their children (we are not educated teachers). Compared to the training for adults, it is less demanding and more playful.</p><p>It is so fascinating to see parents interact with their children. There are parents, which are focused on learning/performing well themselves and children just follow their lead. There are parents which struggle with the exercises themselves, but keep telling their children how they are supposed to do it. And there are parents which get in the way of their children making their own experiences. It is so interesting to observe human behavior.</p><p>And of course this situation can be transferred to Aikidō camps for adult training as well. So many people give unsolicited advice. Just apply the techniques in a good manner yourself as taught by <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/sensei" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>sensei</span></a>. Novices can follow your lead then. If they really need a verbal explanation, they will ask for solicited advice and it is okay to respond then.</p><p>Aikidō is about discovering yourself and making <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/budo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>budo</span></a> experiences. Not about teaching others.</p><p><a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/Aikido" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Aikido</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/%E5%90%88%E6%B0%97%E9%81%93" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>合気道</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/%E6%AD%A6%E9%81%93" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>武道</span></a> <a href="https://mathstodon.xyz/tags/mondayThoughts" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mondayThoughts</span></a></p>
