Marcus Adams<p>The <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/MIGSwitch" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MIGSwitch</span></a> getting <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/NintendoSwitch2" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>NintendoSwitch2</span></a> consoles banned at a hardware level could hurt the used market for the Switch 2. If I were in the market for a Switch 2 as someone who isn't exclusively a <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Nintendo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Nintendo</span></a> gamer, a used console might make an attractive option. However, if there's a chance consoles may be banned thru no fault of future owners, then stores like Gamestop may be hesitant to even sell used consoles, and consumers will be more hesitant to buy them. More money for NIntendo I guess...</p>
