Ich brauche mal Eure Schwarmintelligenz.

Ich hatte hier ja schon vor eine Weile geschrieben, dass ich einen Kreditkartenmissbrauche hatte und die Bank sich quer stellt. Ich schildere das jetzt noch mal etwas genauer.

Am 13. Januar habe ich zuerst die Seite booking.com besucht und nach einem Hotelzimmer geguckt, aber nichts gebucht. Danach war ich bei all.accor.com und habe dort für zwei Termine eine Hotelzimmer gebucht. Das erste musste ich mit Kreditkarte gleich zahlen, das zweite konnte ich reservieren. Sowohl bei booking, als auch bei accor habe ich ein Kundinnenkonto, in dem meine Kreditkarte hinterlegt ist.

Ich habe also ein Hotelzimmer per Kreditkarte bezahlt und - wie immer - die Buchung über die S-ID-Check App auf meinem Handy bestätigt. Ich bin dabei immer sehr gewissenhaft und überprüfe, dass Empfänger und Betrag stimmen, mache da nichts einfach so unüberlegt.

So viel zum 13. Januar, mehr war nicht.

#Paypal hat gestern, in Kooperation mit #Mastercard, bekannt gegeben, dass in Kürze in Deutschen Geschäften mit der Paypal-App bezahlt werden kann – so wie mit #ApplePay. Das ist insofern interessant, dass ein weiteres Superschwergewicht aktiv sein wird und sich Marktanteile schnappt, während europäische Alternativen einfach nicht in die Gänge kommen.

#Trump literally lashing out against friends and neighbours will only backfire hard, and I expect @EUCommission and @europarl_en to enact #PrizeFreezes for #US #products & #services whilst forcing #Retaliatory #Tariffs on all US #products and espechally #services, demanding 100%+ in all #fees, and #revenue of #GAFAMs' services and products to the point that they'll effectively cancel half their revenue that flows back.

  • Plus forcing all products and services to be processed and sold via a #EU-based #corporation and adding a 30% "#AlienTax" as the #USA already does for i.e. #App #developers that ain't from the US even if they never sold a single license to a US customer.

Not to mention cancelling any #DataProtection agreements that only stalled the foreseeable court decision that #CloudAct is incompatible with #GDPR, thus banning #Office365 / #Microsoft365, #iCloud et. al. from the EU!

Given #Trump can't be assed to even fake any #loyality or #allied status even for the cameras, this is a #ForeseeableConsequence.

Unless we want to end up #downgraded into the state of a US-occupied overseas possession without statehood, like #Guam, #PuertoRico or #AVI...
