#Introduction
I've been on Mastodon for quite some time now, but under another name. I started a new account because I decided to take a step back from world news, collapse, climate change, hunger, war, fascism and inequality.
In short less doom and gloom and a little bit of positive small scale projects that might also inspire or help others.

With this account I'll focus more on my day to day life, the things I do and make.

Of course I sometime still will post concerning subjects that provoke my rage or frustration. Sorry, it's not all moonshine and roses.

Having said that, I've a broad range of subjects that have my interest, so hopefully something useful will stick with you.

@Arzhmax Voilà qui va remettre une pièce dans la machine de @ploum et de la conversation #lowtech & #vélo. On voit bien la tentative de rendre obsolètes tous les dérailleurs mécaniques pour vendre de nouveaux vélos avant qu'ils ne soient usés ! En vrai, ça va être un système pas du tout low-tech, et probablement pas maintenable par la plupart des gens, avec une empreinte énorme (une batterie, un moyeu dynamo, un calculateur) tout ça pour éviter aux gens de passer des vitesses avec un cable 1/2

Hormis le Lithium métal léger, les métaux rares sont des métaux lourds

Par exemple le titanate de DYsprosium est un piège à neutron pour le nucléaire, le NeoDyme entre dans la composition des aimants d'éoliennes, l'étain (Sn) dans les soudures, le NIckel et le CObalt dans les batteries

Les métaux lourds migrent en profondeur dans le sol. Ils ne sont donc abondants que dans les zones où la tectonique les ramènent en surface. C'est à dire PAS CHEZ NOUS !
