caio<p>I'm not happy with Obsidian. I'm still using it because I couldn't find alternatives so far. People recommended Logseq. I am not sure if it's better or worse from the project ethics perspective.</p><p><a href="https://floss.social/tags/Obsidian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Obsidian</span></a> is a closed-source project for profit since the beginning. No misleading speeches.</p><p><a href="https://floss.social/tags/Logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Logseq</span></a> *apparently* doesn't want to say that they also are. This "privacy focused" and open-source facade is actually just bait for the Logseq Pro that is coming. They are even invested by A16Z 🤮</p>

It's a me, Mauro<p>Since I re-built my notes system with <a href="https://mograph.social/tags/Emacs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Emacs</span></a> and Denote, I'm going through my years of <a href="https://mograph.social/tags/Logseq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Logseq</span></a> notes, just to save the most fleshed out ones and put them into my new system. </p><p>I have today realised that for some reason some notes in Logseq are not showing up anymore. The md files are still there, the notes are there as well but they show as empty.</p><p>Re-indexing does nothing at all. They are basically invisible to the program, as if they are empty.</p><p>Very glad of my move, on many different levels.</p>

On Android, I can only use backspace to delete blocks if I use GBoard or Samsung Keboard - no FOSS keyboard :((<br>And I've read some things about data loss and privacy issues when using the "publish" feature.<br>I think I'll try something else. (Each new entry inside a day's note is a heading with just the current time).</p><p>I've been looking for a way to achieve this in a long time. Actually if I didn't bother with Org-roam and went with Denote right away it would have been so much better.</p><p>The fact that Denote is basically just extra functions on top of org-mode is a great paradigm.</p><p><a href="https://mograph.social/tags/PKM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PKM</span></a></p>
