CyberLoner :thisisfinefire:<p>EDIT: Thanks to someone commenting with an invite to the GrapheneOS discord server, this has been figured out! the terminal app doesn't work with a VPN enabled right now.</p><p>Is anyone else who uses <a href="https://defcon.social/tags/grapheneos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>grapheneos</span></a> having trouble with the new Terminal app not loading the terminal when the app launches? I will go to settings, enable developer options, enable the Linux shell, let the app install, open the Terminal app, install the dependencies and whatever else makes up the ~800MB of data that it asks me to confirm I want to download at first launch, and then I just get an eternal "Loading the terminal" page on the first tab in the app. I have tried reinstalling/re-enabling it several times, and at this point I have given up and installed Termux to satisfy my itch for a terminal on my phone. I'd appreciate any help, I just went to the <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://grapheneos.social/@GrapheneOS" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>GrapheneOS</span></a></span> website and looked for a section of the issue tracker that might cover it and couldn't see any that might, and I also went to the "Contact" section, and couldn't find a way to contact them or even post to a community for support. I love the OS overall, and this is the one and only issue I have had, and I would love to get it fixed or for them to release a patch fix for it eventually. Looking at the specs its really new and modern so performance and efficiency should hopefully be amazing. That of course does depend on if power saving modes can even be activated.
