👻 eboy (ectoplasm boy)<p>As mentioned, I've started to use <a href="https://post.lurk.org/tags/ObsidianMD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ObsidianMD</span></a> again. It's been about a week. I'm not committing to making daily notes, but when I feel like it, I'll do morning pages, and then I work on some other long form notes little by little, like things I know I enjoy and how they make me feel. A lot has changed since I started using the tool in 2020. People have designed new systems, like PARA, there is a nice UI for properties that makes it a lot easier for someone like me without much YAML knowledge to utilize, as well as a canvasses feature that supports live browser windows. I haven't figured out what I want to use it for yet, but for now, I put some clocks: the witch clock by <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://friend.camp/@garbados" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>garbados</span></a></span> and the neralie clock from <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://merveilles.town/@neauoire" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>neauoire</span></a></span>. 🧙‍♀️ <a href="https://clock.bovid.space/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">clock.bovid.space/</span><span class="invisible"></span></a> 🔘 <a href="https://wiki.xxiivv.com/site/neralie.html" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">wiki.xxiivv.com/site/neralie.h</span><span class="invisible">tml</span></a></p><p>Finding the <a href="https://post.lurk.org/tags/linter" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>linter</span></a> community plug-in useful for auto adding date created and date added times, but there still is not a way to get those dates to backlink yet <a href="https://forum.obsidian.md/t/backlink-in-daily-note-from-property-link/64240" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">forum.obsidian.md/t/backlink-i</span><span class="invisible">n-daily-note-from-property-link/64240</span></a> I also use this templater plug in to let me set a template specific to morning pages and automatically file them away into a morning pages folder. <a href="https://share.note.sx/2rskmna5" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">share.note.sx/2rskmna5</span><span class="invisible"></span></a> The goal is to spend as little time on trying to tinker with the system and more time just expressing myself.</p><p><a href="https://post.lurk.org/tags/obsidian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>obsidian</span></a> <a href="https://post.lurk.org/tags/journaling" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>journaling</span></a> <a href="https://post.lurk.org/tags/morningPages" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>morningPages</span></a></p>
Anders Eknert<p>Announced yesterday, Regal is a new linter for <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/Rego" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Rego</span></a>, with the ambitious goal of both catching bugs/mistakes in policy code, *and* to help people learn the language!
