Formerly a musician, my main trade is electrical engineering (power engineering, energy systems, power electronics) as well as mathematics, and I've been known to make and post artworks and write from time to time. (I'll probably make an art account at some point).

I'm steeping in Bitches Brew today: The original studio album; the sessions; and Bitches Brew live (at the Newport Jazz and Isle of Wight festivals).

A stroke of genius. He stopped being a jazz headliner and asked if he could instead open for rock bands such as Neil Young, Steve Miller, & Grateful Dead. And so people started calling his stuff Jazz-Rock, but it was actually more influenced by avant-garde composers such as Stockhausen. Sales *rocketed*.
