HRT: There was a quite interesting article in the Telegraph talking about the new weight loss jabs affecting the uptake of HRT.
While not being on - weight loss - injections, of course I read it. #Trans women are world leading experts on our own bodies, and gatekeepy cis doctors (let's be frank) can get lost.
Anyway to cut a long story short ...
1 - weight loss jabs affect HRT taken orally, which for us all affects Estradiol and Progesterone pills (not transdermal or injections)
2 - there's an interesting insight on an increased risk of womb cancer for cis women on high dose estrogen HRT I'd like to read up on.
Of course as trans women, many of us prefer to run "hot" ie. high E2/Estrogen levels and womb cancer doesn't apply, but endocrinology is fascinating°°. I see no reason why post-orchi trans woman are asked to run on low often post-menopausal E2 levels

One whole year of the Mirena coil (for perimenopause/HRT reasons).
So glad I faced my fears and that it worked for me, I know there are many different stories out there.
if you have read up or are knowledgeable about the possible correlation between #T1D and #GenderDysphoria or the higher-than-typical prevalence of T1Ds identifying as #transgender, or the possible link between #A1C and #GAHT, or perhaps experience with #insulin resistance related to #GAHT / #HRT, would you like to chat? i have so so many questions.
