I still don't love some of the moves #GothamFC made this off-season, but this does a good job of putting everything in context and sketching out a positive picture for this season.
Still curious to see what they do with Purce, and where Bruninha, Dunn, and Nighswonger fit, but if Portilho is as good as she seems, adding her to a front three with Gonzalez and Stevens could be scary. 
WYD, #GothamFC?!? No Ryan or Williams presumably means Purce is being re-signed, and maybe Dunn will reappear?
I'm not loving many of these off-season moves so far, and while a few are understandable, losing Ryan and Sheehan (to the same team, at that) is the worst of them. 
Looking at this final roster and I still can't understand letting Sheehan go unless she wanted to move on, which would be a little concerning.
Losing Hiatt is disappointing, too, but more understandable, especially if they're re-signing Freeman, which they absolutely better do!
I'd be stunned if they don't re-sign Purce, though.
Who will the new additions be, especially in midfield, which is suddenly a weakness now. 
#GothamFC is at an interesting inflection point, arguably first signaled by the huge price increases for season tickets in 2025.
Despite a bunch of high-profile signings (with mixed results), Delanie Sheehan was one of a handful of unheralded players who represented the heart of the team and established a foundation for them to rebuild from.
I hope this was a personal move for her, and not an omen for what's coming next.

I'm glad the #NWSL season is taking a break for the Olympics because #GothamFC's ridiculous injury list would make these call-ups a huge problem otherwise, even with the great depth we have.
I'm less concerned about the Summer Cup, and hope we prioritize keeping everyone fit and healthy for the restart of the season, especially since these six may miss the first game or two coming back from France with their gold medals.
First highlight: Gotham FC wins 2:1.
Second: viewing the parade of the 'burbanites from the train platform en route home.
