Dave Rahardja<p>I really love how Xiaoma listens to and learns to use Gen Alpha “slang” to deliver these speeches, using that slang as though it were a real language…because *it is* a real language.</p><p>We marginalize and dismiss non-mainstream languages and dialects because we want to keep our distance from the cultures of their speakers.
