If there's a #war between #Europe and #US - #Russia, we need satellite imagery to assist. All European #rockets currently fly out of #FrenchGuiana, which is easy to take over by the #USNavy.

A more sensible approach is to design (or license before it's too late) something like RocketLab's Electron (320 kg to LEO, 200 kg to SSO, very cheap). We don't need anything more powerful. Then launch it from the southern tip of #Crete.

Ariane 6’s first launch live ESA WEB TV ONE

Follow the inaugural flight of Ariane 6, Europe’s new heavy-lift launcher. Operated by ESA, liftoff is expected at 21:00 CEST (with a launch window from 21:00 to 00:00 CEST) from Europe’s Spaceport in #FrenchGuiana During its 3-hour mission, the launcher will demonstrate its capabilities and launch several satellite, deployers, experiments and capsules.
