A friend of ours has a plane and has done an aerial reconnaissance of the Glastonbury site. All the paths are laid down, it reminds me of building in Sim City 4 and getting all transport and utilities set just before everyone moves in.

On Sunday (May 18th) I flew to KLUM where there was a memorial fly-in for some people that passed away in a plane crash recently. Here are some photos of the trip up there with more to follow if you want to see more in this thread.
That last photo I took when I realized that I had pretty much nowhere to safely land if my engine failed. This was the Volk Falls MOA which I've never traversed (and probably wouldn't again at that low of an altitude).

Sitting at Dubai Airport waiting for my onward flight to London. Very very tired, and there are too many noisy children about. There were kids in Premium Economy on Emirates! How on earth does a family afford it?

I had that WANT to fly and I used my callsign for the first time, which was fun. ADS-B exchange registered it correctly so I assume I entered it into my transponder correctly. It was pretty gusty on the ground but otherwise the flying was pretty smooth! I tried out a GPS approach to get familiar with the instrumentation in this aircraft and everything works as expected which is always a good thing.
I've been making a list of pretty much every flying event within 150nm of my location and this is going to be a summer of a lot of flying to those events. This weekend I'll be flying Young Eagles and then over to Waupaca (KPCZ) for their fly-in and car show in the afternoon!
