if you do, i doubt that you can safely vote third party without securing your worst possible outcome.

Agreed. I know a lot of people on here are not fond of #Carney and would rather have more of a social justice warier. I get it, and if we had proportional representation I would say vote with your heart.

But sadly we have #FPTP and that means voting strategically. I have had to do that for years in our riding and it pisses me off. But this time I might end up voting Liberal for the first time. Reason is to keep PeePee and his band of Nazis out of power. Its a practical matter as the CPC will kick anyone they dont like to the curb. They scare the living crap out of me.

One should only vote #volt in #erststimme if the #umfrage shows them in first or second position. Otherwise one should treat #erststimme as a protest vote agianst the party you dón't want.

The answer:

#1: 1958 Diefenbaker’s Progressive Conservatives won 53.6% of the popular vote and 208 seats. He beat Lester Pearson’s Liberals. The CCF came third with 8 seats.

#2: 1984 Mulroney’s Progressive Conservatives won 50.03% of the popular vote and 211 seats over John Turner’s Liberals with the NDP finishing third with 30 seats.
