So riding my bike home, I had an experience, where I sometimes wonder if angels, in the nonmagical but very real human sense exist. I couldn't confine it to 500 characters so I wrote it on my blog here after getting home. I'm still kind of turning over what I experienced.

mycabinetofcuriosities.comHey cheri! is the last thing you expect at 2amThis is my house. I made these things.

Guy: I'm so gonna take you on an amazing date and you will have fun
Girl: ok
*get off at city center*
Guy: Is there any place you'd like to go?
Girl: Not in particular
Guy: *surprised Pikachu face* shit what do I do now?

Shirou you fucking Idiot :D

Seeing Shirou say something extremely sexist only for all the girls to dunk on him immediately was great. On the other hand, I'm never sure how to feel about displays like these, because it turns an act that would be quite offputting if seen in real life, into a comedy moment, rather than negatively affecting the character's standing or his relationships to the other characters in any meaningful way.

You might believe that there are literally #NatureSpirits- entities of Life/Energy that surround us or you may feel this is a metaphor for the awe/respect we feel for the natural world, the complex unfolding of natural rhythms/ processes.
A short video + a couple of rough sketches expanding on the idea in the video (maybe later I'll have time to do a proper drawing). These are Laumas- kind of #woodland #fairy #fate guardian or cautionary spirit

@mullana @haecksen I was glad you were able to de-rail the boss fight. As a con adventure it is linear and simplified (no big sandbox). But I hate railroading in #TTRPG . By finding an unexpected ending you made it so much more entertaining for me. Sorry you could not spend your heap of collected #fate points in an epic fight :-)

A quotation from Rod Serling

LYMAN: He’s not the enemy. Scott, the Joint Chiefs, even the very emotional, very illogical lunatic fringe: they’re not the enemy. The enemy’s an age — a nuclear age. It happens to have killed man’s faith in his ability to influence what happens to him. And out of this comes a sickness, and out of sickness a frustration, a feeling of impotence, helplessness, weakness. And from this, this desperation, we look for a champion in red, white, and blue. Every now and then a man on a white horse rides by, and we appoint him to be our personal god for the duration. For some men it was a Senator McCarthy, for others it was a General Walker, and now it’s a General Scott.

Rod Serling (1924-1975) American screenwriter, playwright, television producer, narrator
Seven Days in May, film (1964)
