EEASSponsorship Opportunity: Europe Day ReceptionThe European Union Office in Kosovo is pleased to invite organizations to partner with us for the annual reception on the occasion of Europe Day.  Europe Day is a highly anticipated event attended by more than 250 - 350 influential guests, including government officials, diplomats, representatives from international organizations, business leaders, and journalists. By sponsoring this event, your organization will be associated with European values of peace, unity, and progress, while gaining brand exposure among key audiences. Why Sponsor? Sponsoring the Europe Day Reception offers exclusive benefits, including: Brand visibility among high-profile dignitaries and decision-makers, Exclusive networking opportunities with a diverse and engaged audience, Media exposure through event coverage, Association with European values and partnership with the EU in Kosovo. The EU Office in Kosovo will review applications based on the eligibility and selection criteria listed below. Selected sponsors will sign a Corporate Sponsorship Agreement. Sponsorships exceeding €1,000 will be registered by the European External Action Service (EEAS). Sponsorships exceeding €5,000 will be publicly disclosed on EU Delegation websites and the official EEAS site.   Terms of Reference What does sponsorship entail?  By signing the Corporate Sponsoring Agreement, the EU Office in Kosovo offers sponsors the following benefits: Sponsorship level In-kind value (EUR) Benefits Gold Sponsor €5,000+ Prime logo placement in event invitation and on-screen projections; standing banner at entrance of the premises, standing banner within the reception premises, display of promotional materials (flyers, brochures) at a stand in the event foyer, acknowledgment in Ambassador’s and Moderator’s speech, mention in the social media posts and the website story of the EU in Kosovo, event photos provided through cloud-sharing services, VIP invitations for 8 guests Silver Sponsor €2,000 - €4,999 Secondary logo placement (placed beneath the logo of the gold sponsor)  in event invitation, standing banner at entrance of the premises; standing banner within the reception premises, logo on-screen projections, acknowledgment in Moderator’s speech, mention in the social media posts and the website story of the EU in Kosovo, event photos provided through cloud-sharing services, invitations for 5 guests Bronze Sponsor €1,000 - €1,999 Basic logo placement (placed beneath the logos of the gold and silver sponsors)  in event invitation, standing banners placed within the reception premises, logo on–screen projections, acknowledgment in Moderator’s speech, mention in the social media posts and the website story of the EU in Kosovo, event photos provided through cloud-sharing services, invitations for 3 guests Sales activity is not permitted during the event.   Sponsor Commitments Sponsors are invited to provide in-kind contributions that enhance the overall event experience. The EU Office in Kosovo will only accept contributions in-kind (financial contributions are not permitted as per EU regulations).  Selected sponsors will sign a Corporate Sponsorship Agreement. Sponsorships exceeding €1,000 will be registered by the European External Action Service (EEAS). Sponsorships exceeding €5,000 will be publicly disclosed on EU Delegation websites and the official EEAS site. Sponsors will not have input on the substance of the event. Sales activity is not permitted during the event.   Contributions may include: Type of good/service Specification Provision of venue Capacity of 300-400 people (standing); inclusive of cleaning services, handyperson services, functioning utilities, cloakroom; preferable disability access  Catering services Inclusive of cocktail tables, serving tables, tablecloths, cocktail menu (finger food and drinks), waiters/bar staff, cutlery and crockery, glasses, related transport and logistics Technical Equipment Sound system (speakers, microphones), LED screen, stage, technical support with staff Translation and interpretation services Interpretation equipment/booths, ENG-ALB-SRB simultaneous interpretation service, ENG-ALB-SRB interpreters/translators  Event decoration and printing Fresh flowers, carpet, printing of branded banners, printing of branded posters and other visibility items as needed and decided by the EU Office Promotional items Branded gifts (EU + corporate sponsor logo), branded umbrellas (EU + corporate sponsor logo) Sponsors may also suggest alternative in-kind sponsorships that align with the event.   Eligibility and Selection Criteria Sponsors may be public or private organizations and companies, and their activities must not conflict with EU’s mission, objectives and policies, particularly in areas such as foreign policy, health, and environmental sustainability. Sponsors must declare the value (in EUR) of the in-kind goods and/or services provided. The nature and activities of the Sponsor must align with the principles, values, and commitments of the European Union. The Sponsor must not be subject to exclusions referred to in Articles 136(1) and 141(1) of the EU Financial Regulation (2018/1046). Sponsors must complete and submit the attached Declaration of Honour regarding exclusion criteria. All sponsors must also comply with EU data protection regulations (Regulation (EU) 2018/1725).    Review and Selection The EU Office in Kosovo will review all applications and select organizations that best align with the core objectives of the Europe Day reception. The decision will be based on the appeal of the sponsorship in terms of goods or services provided and the coherence between the sponsor’s brand and the EU’s values. The EU Office in Kosovo reserves the right to refuse any sponsorship proposal that conflicts with the EU's institutional role, values or is deemed inconsistent with the objectives of Europe Day. The EU Office in Kosovo reserves the right to decline any sponsorship proposal if the suggested contribution overlaps with that of another sponsor.   Application Deadline and Submission Deadline for Sponsorship Proposals: 16 February 2025, 24:00 CET To apply, please submit your proposal via email to delegation-kosovo-admin-tenders@eeas.europa.eu, with subject ‘’Sponsorship Opportunity: Europe Day Reception’’.   Declaration on honour on exclusion criteria and selection criteria.docx

@CarstenBuus@mstdn.social What do any of us Europeans know about our common history post-WWII? Not much because our national governments like to keep us ignorant and are insanely insecure (we have fake bridges and buildings on our 💶 and 1 country out of 27 celebrates as an official holiday--and it's one of the tax pirates, lol!). We're busy watching Hollywood stuff.🤷‍♀️

@mastomememakers 1 out of 27 EU countries celebrates as a bank holiday (good for you, Luxembourg).

I agree about "things" when they're valuable, ie legislative power, the EU as a global actor, EU Commission investment programmes that get touted then cut drastically by the Council, etc. Manfred Weber as the President of the CE through a pandemic and the Ukraine war is not one of those things. Fuck him and fuck the EPP. (Merci, mon Empereur! Cucking the EPP with vdL was a clutch move.)
