I'm disinclined to disagree with those people, but I continue to think, along with the judge and possibly the home secretary, that they could more usefully protest the actions of the (secular) State of Israel* in the geographical areas of Gaza and the West Bank, and at the smallness of actions by our own government thus far in mitigating it's effects, than join a local fight against our government.
* Which boasts of its multi-ethnic multireligious citizenry.
