There is no train connection to Thessaloniki (from anywhere, really), and I'm not going to present a paper while the bushfires are raging. I'm considering my #nofly options for the #ECPR #SGEU24 conference. That means traveling across two thirds of Europe by train: Vienna -- Lisbon. I can easily get to Zurich by sleeper train, but then I would have to go all the way up to Paris (grâce au centralisme), only to spend 15 hours on different busses (no rail!?) on my way to the south-west. Ouch. What's your favorite #crossborder rail planner? Am I exhausting all my options?

Oh no, Alex Moise's @ecpr methods Workshop on Bayesian Modelling has been cancelled for lack of registrations. Aren't there any social scientists here who what to learn/improve their #Bayes skills? Perhaps it's not too late. Boosts appreciated.
