Got together to play #Shadowdark at an FLGS last week. The caster fumbled a spell, as one does.
The group divided as the caster rolled on the Wizard Mishap Table...
The #dungeonsanddragons players were cheering for the most favorable result.
The #morkborg players were cheering for the worst.

This past Saturday, I ran a DnD session for my two daughters, and some of their friends. We had fun, but two things worth noting happened during the game.
The innkeep, who they had not earned the trust of yet, refused to serve them normal food, and instead over-charged them for slop. literal slop, they made jokes about how gross it must be, and that it was moving around in the bowl on its own.
The other thing was my oldest daughter, playing a bard, learned the benefits of Viscious Mockery, and that she basically gets to insult her target and do damage.
That night after things were wrapped up, i heard her playing a game or somethig with the friends who remained, and she shouts "Viscuoius Mockery!" at them. I chuckled.
Today, they're looking for something to eat for lunch (theyre both cyber-schooled) and found a bowl of something in the fridge, and theyre joking that its the same slop they were served in the game.
I find this really funny, and sort of heart warming, that they had enough fun in the game I ran for them, that theyre still making references to it.
Guys, this is what its all about.

Been going back over some previous episodes of the #IdleFantasyPodcast ready for the full resumption of the podcast on (hopefully) this Friday. Will be encouraging the guys to open up a mastodon account as I think they’ll find their audience more easily here. The story paused midway through a battle at Helmforth so this is a great chance to re-live that - although my favourites so far is the Wishbone Wager.
I found out about this podcast because I follow Jonny And The Baptists and Paddy (one half of this comedy duo) is one of the DnD players in this podcast.

#PennedPossibilities 632 — What originally inspired your WIP’s plot?
Oh, that's easy. For me, it was playing #CyberpunkRED, #Cyberpunk2020, and finally moving on to GM the games as well. The universe used in the homebrew games I've created is the same one featured in the novel. I love creating original universes, worlds, and stories.
