If you've ever wanted your own VPN server for privacy, bug bounty testing, or to change your IP address without relying on overpriced services - I've got a tutorial for you.

In this beginner-friendly walkthrough, I show how to:
🔐 Set up WireGuard on a DigitalOcean VPS
🛠️ Configuration file for both server and client
📶 Enable IP forwarding and firewall on the server
📲 Connect from macOS using a config file or from phone using QR code

The result? A fast, secure, self-hosted VPN — and full control over your traffic.

Would love to hear if you've used WireGuard before - or what tools you prefer!

Murena Find, a new privacy-first search engine by Murena and Qwant, now runs in no-tracking mode by default 🔒.

It’s the default on Murena smartphones with /e/OS 3.0 and offers relevant, unbiased results while blocking fewer trackers than Google 🚫📊.

Which search engine do you use, and would you try Murena Find? 🤔

Nice!
I donated to the @torproject the other day and got the hat as a gift, received today.

Delivery on this field works very well too. I've never seen a box like this arriving in this condition (forgot to take a photo).

And I didn't know that they're going to include some stickers either. A little extra surprise. Thanks!

Take a look at the photo, if you want this too, go and donate!

The hat BTW fits good

What I really like about #DeltaChat / #Chatmail :
- no admins in groups. Groups without trusted people make no sense. Anyone can delete anything. It's more like a messenger for friends and family. It's a “feature” that I really like

What I don't like:
- not possible to pin messages (I read it's coming)
- webxdc is nice, but without pinned messages it's annoying to search the history for them
- moving profiles (I read it's coming)

A second thought occurred to me after the initial "Any company that does AI interviews is deeply unserious and should be avoided as an employer at all costs".

At least according to German data privacy laws, you generally cannot record a person without their consent.

But an AI is not a "person" in the legal sense, right? (And at the present time and for many decades to come, it is not a "person" in any other sense of the word...) So is there any legal problem with the interviewee recording the entire interview and sharing choice bits with the rest of the world for their amusement?
