One thing I have noticed in the past 100 years is that most notes and text I create are totally ephemeral. Only in rare occasions do I need to refer to them again. BUT! There is always some information I need to pull at random.
I finally settled on a workflow.
I use #DraftsApp to create pretty much all text.
I created an action to send the draft to #DevonThink and then archive it. Most everything goes here.
Then, everything else gets handled through other actions.
Ich habe einige Sachen die ich gerne immer in Sync halte (Kalender + #DevonThink + einige aktuelle Projektdaten) nach der unscheduled downtime der #OvGU Cloud Anfang letzter Woche schon auf mein privates NAS verlegt. Eigentlich denke ich, das hat keine USV, ist nur mit DSL angebunden und wird von einem Amateuer gehostet, aber ehrlich gesagt ist es deutlich hochverfügbarer als die #OvGU Cloud, die von ihrer scheduled Downtime am Freitag + Samstag immer noch nicht wieder da ist.
Meines Wissens nutzt die ganze Universität eine gemeinsame API-Schnittstelle. Das HAWKI-Programm macht dann nichts anderes als ein Proxy, der sich merkt, wer welche Frage gestellt hat und wohin welche Antwort gehen muss. ChatGPT weiß so nicht nutzerscharf, wer was gefragt hat.
Diese API-Schnittstelle wird das Rechenzentrum aber natürlich nicht für die individuelle Nutzung herausgeben.
Damit ist eine API-Nutzung in Programmen wie #DevonThink mit der Uni-Lizenz wohl nicht möglich.
Ein OpenAI-API Zugang wird nicht möglich sein, oder? Nur eine App im Browser, vergleichbar mit chatGPT?
Im Senatsbericht stand interessanterweise dazu “Eine Erstattung privater OpenAI API Token ist nicht möglich".
Da frage ich mich nun: Ist das der eigentliche Grund? Da es nun die diesen "Zugang zur KI” gibt, dürfen private Verträge mit OpenAI nicht mehr über Uni Konten laufen.
API Zugang wäre aber interessant, weil man das z.B. in #DevonThink oder anderen Apps nutzen kann.

Weiterhin Probleme wenn #DevonThink direkt auf einer SMB-Freigabe OCR auf einem PDF laufen lassen und das Ergebnis in den Eingang verschieben soll. Unklar warum. Habe Support mal den Fehler und meine Automationen geschickt.
Probiere jetzt einen Workaround: #Hazel verschiebt neue PDF vom SMB-Share in das lokale Finder-Verzeichnis "Inbox" (die globale Inbox von DT). Diese wiederum liest DT ohnehin beim Start und zur Laufzeit ein. Läuft wie Butter!
Fehlt nur noch OCR - mal gucken.
@kuzmandi @_DigitalWriter_ Ich mirgriere gerade von #DevonTHINK und habe da auch noch einige Bereinigungen vor ,or. Ich glaube das lässt sich mit (temporäreren) Speicherpfaden machen, aber eine direkte yunterstützung wäre schon besser…
Ich denke da eher an eine Racing condition. Mehrere pdf importieren und mit ocr bearbeiten vom Netz. Irgendwas klemmt da wenn das #DevonThink beim Programmstart automatisch tun soll 
Irgendwas muss ich mit meinem #DevonThink setup überlegen. Manchmal hängt das Ding für Minuten(!) beim Start.
Auffallend, wenn
- beim Start automatisch via Skript/Makro gescannte PDF vom Netzwerk importiert und mit OCR analysiert werden sollen
- und wenn da mehr als eine Datei zu importieren ist
Als wenn der Ordner Scan beim Start kollidiert mit dem Import der Dateien.
Irgendwann dann eine Log-Meldung wegen angeblich fehlender Rechte?!
