Christoffer S.<p>By popular demand I will very soon push an updated version of the <a href="https://swecyb.com/tags/CyberEspresso" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CyberEspresso</span></a> which now also includes a first iteration of the "source-view", i.e. which sources are currently configured to be pulled from.</p><p>Few things missing:</p><p>- Source Category (e.g. Organization, Individual, News)<br>- Source Name (e.g Instead of blogspot.com it should say Google Online Security Blog)</p><p>But at least now there's transparency in where data is being collected from, and consequently also where it is NOT being collected from.</p><p>Small steps towards improving the service, hopefully also making it a little bit more useful and valuable.</p>
Christoffer S.<p>Getting ready to release <a href="https://swecyb.com/tags/CyberEspresso" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CyberEspresso</span></a> to the beta-testers. Have only just now successfully completed the entire process/application flow from Account Creation -&gt; Authentication -&gt; Create new feed -&gt; Configure/Tailor/Customize feed -&gt; Process new article -&gt; Publish article to configured feed(s) -&gt; Find article in feed reader app.</p><p>That completes an absolutely massive amount of work for me and I'm incredibly proud of this work.</p><p>What now remains to see, and this is absolutely nerve-racking, is to see if people find it as useful as I think it is. This real-world testing/review/validation of an idea is terrifying.</p><p>Luckily the beta-group is still rather limited to just above 100 people, so at least I've got limited exposure there and people tend to forget quickly if this should (god forbid) flop ;-)</p><p>Not sure how many actually care about this sort of personal progress, but well... now it's out there anyways.</p><p>Next weekend this is all happening!</p><p><a href="https://www.cyberespresso.eu" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="">cyberespresso.eu</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p><a href="https://swecyb.com/tags/Cybersecurity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Cybersecurity</span></a> <a href="https://swecyb.com/tags/RSS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RSS</span></a> <a href="https://swecyb.com/tags/Content" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Content</span></a> <a href="https://swecyb.com/tags/Reading" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Reading</span></a></p>
Christoffer S.<p>Happy to report that I'm making good progress on the <a href="https://swecyb.com/tags/CyberEspresso" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CyberEspresso</span></a> which means that the now almost 100 of you who have expressed interested in participating in the beta shall get to do so as planned towards the end of May.</p><p>For this beta you will be able to:</p><p>1. Create an account (OMG!).<br>2. Create one, or more, feed(s).<br>3. Configure feeds based on which primary article categorization the feeds should populate with.<br>4. View all sources from where articles are pulled.</p><p>That should enable you to "experience" the fundamental value proposition of the Espresso.</p><p>After this initial release I will try and steer feature selection based on feedback, and where you most feel things could improve. I really, really appreciate that so many are willing to try it out, and hopefully at least some will also help me with feedback ;-)</p><p><a href="https://www.cyberespresso.eu" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="">cyberespresso.eu</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p><a href="https://swecyb.com/tags/Cybersecurity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Cybersecurity</span></a> <a href="https://swecyb.com/tags/RSS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>RSS</span></a> <a href="https://swecyb.com/tags/Atom" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Atom</span></a></p>
