Eventually they set up a shadow company for him, he left his govt job and became a "Vice President" at this two-person company that was subcontracting to Israeli defense companies. The FBI was watching him closely for a long time.</p><p>By the way the Israelis got him with a honeypot. A gorgeous "academic" who was somehow very close with high ranking Israeli military officials became miraculously romantically interested in him. He fell for it, traveled to Israel, where they told him gee, it turns out he had a Jewish ancestor! Amazing. He questioned none of it.
