Aaron<p>The key mechanism that enables wealth extraction by a company is that shareholders represent a privileged subset of the community, to whom all profits go. If shareholders instead consisted of the entire community, with equal shares, any profits are returned to the entire community instead of concentrated into the hands of a privileged few. This model is called a cooperative. They already exist. There is a good chance you are a member of at least one, without even realizing it. Then they funded him because he redirected the fear and anger at other citizens instead of the 1%. And now they're using him to disassemble our democracy and make it work even more in their favor. And so the oligarchy transforms back into the aristocracy it was born from.</p><p>Future generations must not forget. If you don't want fascism, don't allow aristocracy or oligarchy to form. That means outlawing billionaires from the start.
