It has the added benefit of being vegan.

It's a perfect way to use up old bananas.

Jelly fish

Yesterday at a restaurant we had a dish of duck with jellyfish. I liked the dish, and even though the jelly fish does not have a lot of taste, it definitely adds to the mouthfeel of the dish. So today I picked up a bag of jellyfish in the Asian food shop to try and create a dish with it at home. #jellyfish #cooking

Putting grape (muscadine and domestic) and mulberry leaves to use.

Other ingredients: maitake mushrooms, zucchini, mint and fennel leaves, parmigiano reggiano, olive oil for brushing and salt for pulling water out of zucchini.

Over the weekend I cooked:

Chili (personal recipe)
Bean soup (personal recipe)
Jalapeno cornbread (easy!)
Maple cornbread (even easier!)
Fruity Pebbles cake (not from scratch)
Spruce Tip Tea (nature made it, I just served it ;p)

And built (with significant help and guidance):
A dry stone altar to the ancestors

With significant sciatica pain causing frequent breaks.
