Michael Piotrowski<p>Had an interesting discussion today.</p><p>In linguistics, when hiring a postdoc (with some teaching load), you can definitely ask for a trial lesson on, say, the basics of morphology for first-year BA students. If you hold a PhD in linguistics, regardless of your specialty, you should know enough about morphology to do this.</p><p>If we wanted to do this in <a href="https://mastodon.acm.org/tags/ComputationalHumanities" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ComputationalHumanities</span></a> (or <a href="https://mastodon.acm.org/tags/DigitalHumanities" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DigitalHumanities</span></a>), what might be an equivalent?</p><p>Tricky question, huh?</p>
