Hello. Here's last night's sunset.

The cows on the horizon the other day were back down near the roadside. They all stopped grazing and watched me take a few photos from the safety of the other side of the fencing. They are big - and know how to stare!!

Kengo had to see his vet today for some growth by his anus, which he found to be a very common benign type and no action is needed for now. So it was a relief to us and my coffer. I love our vet but the office's booking is always annoying. We waited for one hour for a five-minute exam.
Oh well. Kengo was totally bored.
To clear the mood, I attach a beautiful morning sky shot at work.
One more day.

This was taken from the church of San Michele in Bosco looking out over Bologna. The tower you can see there is the Asinelli tower - it was built sometime between 1109-1119.
Other important information about this area is that I saw a bat and it was very cute. 🦇✨

Finally spring has arrived. On the perfect morning I went to the place I know where currant tree are blooming. The early morning light lit them up perfectly.
For me this a shot I had for more then a year in my mind. The result is better than I hoped for.

Golden Gate and The City

I captured this image of San Francisco and the Golden Gate bridge on a cool winter day with a small storm clearing and blowing past the city.
This was captured from a location known as Hawk Hill in the Marin Headlands. Hawk Hill allows one of the highest vantage points of the bridge and the city.

Golden Gate and The City This is an imaging the bridge and San Francisco. The foreground is the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. There is a large tanker ship heading in towards the San Francisco Bay just about to pass under the Golden Gate Bridge. The Golden Gate Bridge is seen spanning the Golden Gate from the Marin Headlands to San Francisco. Beyond the bridge is the San Francisco Bay and the city of San Francisco in the center right of the image. Behind all of this are some large puffy clouds from a clearing storm blowing east.

It's like the tree limbs and the clouds are chatting in sign language. This is the one I should have posted the other day. I was running across the park because I wanted to frame those trees against those clouds and the clouds were moving fast and the trees were far away.
