éric 🚲 🇪🇺 :emacs:<p>New blog post on the inspiration for a new Julia package I am writing.</p><p>The package will address the optimization based design of heat exchanger networks for process integration (energy use reduction). The optimization will be based on decision variables defined on the basis of visualisation of hot and cold streams in a process.</p><p>The blog post illustrates the concepts using gnuplot src blocks in org mode in Emacs and highlights a nice feature of code reuse in org mode. There is also a small example of the use of Emacs Calc to do some algebra.</p><p>The plan is to have a series of blog posts as the code is developed. Herr Rau<p>Ich möchte in der Tabellenkalkulation ausrechnen: e^A1+e^B1+e^C1, also =exp(A1)+exp(B1)+exp(C1) und so weiter, das aber für viele Zellen A1 bis ABB1 etwa.</p><p>Leider habe ich keinen Weg gefunden, das anders als über eine derart lange Formel zu lösen. Klar geht: Kopie jeder Zelle anlegen in Zeile darunter, und das dann summieren, dann muss man nicht tippen, nur kopieren. Also Strg-C, zur anderen Zelle, F2, Cursor dahin setzten, wo der Inhalt hin soll, Strg-V.</p><p>Obwohl das trivial ist, kann <a href="https://nerdculture.de/tags/Excel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Excel</span></a> das nicht. </p><p>In Excel muss man erst in der ersten Zelle den Inhalt markieren (F2, Strg-A), kann ihn dann kopieren oder ausschneiden, muss dann das Bearbeiten der Zelle beenden (ESC) und kann dann zur Ziel-Zelle.
