It’s possible to embed a <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/MathJax" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MathJax</span></a> code block, but inline LaTeX is impossible;<br> • the UI is ugly. Immediately! It’s both (much) simpler and (much) more efficient, *and* it’s encrypted as a bonus (<a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/E2EE" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>E2EE</span></a>).</p><p>The real-time collaboration is really impressive: reliable and snappy.
