Looking for advice on Bricklink Studio and brick bending.

I'm looking to create instructions for a ring of 3x1 with barrels. In this image, I've bent the first sub-module at 10° for the outside 2 bricks. When I try to add another module (using the connect tool) I get the ghosted bricks shown.

Should I ignore that? Is there a trick to making it accept it? I've done some searching on 'bent brick' and 'ring' for a Bricklink tutorial, haven't found anything.

I just remembered that I never finished off the locomotive that I was creating in Bricklink Studio. I was finding it a real bugger trying to attach the bogies to the underside of the main body but I've just discovered the Connect tool which makes it ridiculously easy. Why did I never notice that icon before‽ 😆 I also never seem to be able to get the lighting angle right in the renders either.

Well, anyway, what to build next? :neocat_thinking:
