NHAM<p><a href="https://nham.co.uk/2025/03/transverse-tempo-a-new-show/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">[Read in full on NHAM]</a></p><p><strong>Transverse Tempo – A New Show</strong></p><p>A new radio show called <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.audiointerface.org/shows/transverse-tempo/" target="_blank">Transverse Tempo</a> has been launched on Audio Interface.</p><p>It brings ‘downtempo, trip-hop, chill wave and tracks that sit somewhere above ambient’ presented by the lovely smooth tones of Chris (<a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" class="u-url mention" href="https://ravenation.club/@CCirco" target="_blank">@<span>CCirco</span></a>) – who was also recently in the news for featuring on the <a href="https://nham.co.uk/2025/03/comfy-collaborations-album-review/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Comfy Collaborations album</a> released last week.</p><p>The first episode is 50 minutes / nine tracks of lovely sounds including Fedi musicians Endless Blue (<a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" class="u-url mention" href="https://mastodon.social/@endlessblue" target="_blank">@<span>endlessblue</span></a>), Key13 (<a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" class="u-url mention" href="https://mastodon.online/@keefmarshall" target="_blank">@<span>keefmarshall</span></a>), Ordos Mk.0 (<a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" class="u-url mention" href="https://ravenation.club/@ordosmarkzero" target="_blank">@<span>ordosmarkzero</span></a>) and socool (<a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" class="u-url mention" href="https://ravenation.club/@socool" target="_blank">@<span>socool</span></a>).</p><p>Chris says he finds a lot of the tracks he’ll be featuring in the Transverse Tempo shows from the <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://indieart.support/" target="_blank">indieart.support</a> website (<a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" class="u-url mention" href="https://fedi.indieart.support/@hello" target="_blank">@<span>hello</span></a>).</p><p>Audio Interface (<a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" class="u-url mention" href="https://mastodon.social/@audiointerface" target="_blank">@<span>audiointerface</span></a>) was set up by Xylander (<a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" class="u-url mention" href="https://mastodon.social/@xylander" target="_blank">@<span>xylander</span></a>) and has a focus on unsigned and independent electronic music. Indeed our very own monthly mixtapes radio show also features on the station.</p><p><a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" class="hashtag u-tag u-category" href="https://nham.co.uk/tag/audiointerface/" target="_blank">#AudioInterface</a> <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" class="hashtag u-tag u-category" href="https://nham.co.uk/tag/radio/" target="_blank">#radio</a></p>
Nielso<p>Auch <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a>-Upgrade… soo <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/OBS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OBS</span></a> geht, und nun zum Überwachen der Lautheit wieder mein <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/LUFS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>LUFS</span></a>-Meter auf die <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/Blackmagic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Blackmagic</span></a>-Quelle (<a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/UltraStudio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>UltraStudio</span></a> Recorder) hängen…</p><p>… huch, <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/VST" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>VST</span></a> in <a href="https://digitalcourage.social/tags/OBS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OBS</span></a> gehen nicht mehr.
Chris Mills<p>My <a href="https://cloudisland.nz/tags/AudioInterface" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AudioInterface</span></a> appears to have made its final <a href="https://cloudisland.nz/tags/BonkWave" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BonkWave</span></a> offering as it won't hold sample rate any more. What am I to consider for my next option for <a href="https://cloudisland.nz/tags/ElectronicMusic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ElectronicMusic</span></a> production under <a href="https://cloudisland.nz/tags/Windows" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Windows</span></a> with an eye towards moving to <a href="https://cloudisland.nz/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> (or <a href="https://cloudisland.nz/tags/DualBoot" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DualBoot</span></a> )? I use <a href="https://cloudisland.nz/tags/Bitwig" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Bitwig</span></a> <a href="https://cloudisland.nz/tags/VCVRack" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>VCVRack</span></a> and less often <a href="https://cloudisland.nz/tags/Reason" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Reason</span></a>. I'd like 4-6 I/O 24-bit 48kHz is fine. I am looking at the MOTU M4 as I have used the same brand (and interface) for my own <a href="https://cloudisland.nz/tags/music" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>music</span></a> for more than 25 years.</p>
